Just Breathe kids yoga inspires our youth to notice, breathe and connect. By learning to be present in the moment and connect our movement to our breath, we offer a safe place to become empowered and confident. Through this self-discovery practice, we aim to develop mindfulness while creating an opportunity to reduce burden and achieve clarity. 


Why Yoga for kids? Yoga and mindfulness are interrelated traditions that focus on the entire being. Yoga provides a set of tools for our youth to use to create space between life experiences and how we respond to them. It is a strength-based practice of living mindfully in the present. Through the practice of yoga and mindfulness our youth explore ways to live their best life. Studies support that yoga improves … self-confidence and self-regulation, reduces anxiety, stabilizes energy, creates greater impulse control, lessens anger response, helps with following directions, focus and impulsivity, increases attention, as well as creates a greater emotional balance all while increasing strength and confidence.

Tuesday 3:30-4:30


Just Breathe Kids Yoga ages 5-7

Class Description: Classes blend active yoga asana’s (poses), music, yoga-inspired games, mindfulness, breath work and relaxation. Classes are age appropriate. No prior children's yoga experience is required. 

Thursday 1:30-2:15

Just Breathe Kids Yoga PreK (Age 4)

Class Description: Beginner Yoga and mindfulness for PreK aged children. We will encourage “play” in our yoga experience and discover how our breath and body move together. This is a 45 minute Class. No prior children's yoga experience is required. 

Thursday 3:30-4:30

Just Breathe Kids Yoga ages 8-12

Class Description: Using simple yoga asana’s (poses) and sequences, breath work, beginning meditation and relaxation, this class encourages youth to strengthen the best version of him/herself.  Classes are age appropriate.  No prior children's yoga experience is required.


  • Classes begin January 15th and run according to the Muscogee County School year (including breaks). Last day of class is the 16th of May, 2019.

  • Child should arrive ready to move in comfortable clothing, a water bottle is recommended, and (if they have one) a yoga mat. Mats available at the studio if needed!

Through yoga we learn that everything we need is already within us. We learn how to pause, breathe and connect in order to quiet our mind and tap into our own greatness. We will use yoga poses, games, mindfulness breathing and activities to inspire our own creativity and explore what it means to be the best version of ourselves.

Exploring the Elements

How can the world around us inspire us to be our best version of ourselves? If we believe...can we fly? If we focus...can we flow? If we ground down...can we root and then grow? Spend a week at kids yoga summer camp and explore all of the details of the elements within  and around us!

What to bring:

  • A healthy snack. 

  • Water (only) in a sealed water bottle. 

  • Wear comfortable clothes that you can move in. 

  • A yoga mat, mats available at the studio if needed.
