You’re invited to a special gathering where we will explore and delve deeply into what it means to live our yoga off the mat.
Living Yoga Off the Mat is a conversational style experience devoted to dialogue, movement, breath, and reflection centered around the heart of the yogic path: the yamas and niyamas.
At the core of the yoga practice, it was never about the poses or a perfect meditative seat, but rather a path to help each individual remember who they are and why they’re here and then live from that place. So much of the yogic path- the practices and philosophy- is rooted in truth and cleansing. The idea is we use the 8 limbed path in order to purify ourselves physically, mentally, and energetically daily so we can be who we came here to be because it is from that place that we’re able to be of most profound service in this world.
Through an intimate, guided conversation, we’ll explore how the yamas and niyamas act as a compass for living in deeper truth and alignment. We’ll reflect on how these ancient principles show up in real life — in relationships, parenting, leadership, creativity, and the everyday choices no one sees.
What to Expect:
An embodied yoga practice centered on bringing yogic philosophy into the body so it’s not only intellectualized, but also felt in the body.
A conversation and deep exploration on the ancient philosophy of the yogic path and how it still massively applies to our modern, everyday lives.
Breath work and meditation in order to activate mental clarity and regulate the nervous system.
Practical takeaways for embodying yoga off that mat and in our everyday lives.
Why This Matters (Now):
The yamas and niyamas give us a framework for living truthfully — for relating with more integrity, moving with more awareness, and making choices that feel deeply aligned. And from that place... something truly powerful happens in our own lives, the way we show up for others, and the impact that we have on our families, communities, and the world. We soften, we expand, we open, we become more truthful.
The result? More aligned, enchanting, healthy, and meaningful lives at home, socially, in the workplace, and everywhere in between.
